English II: Week of April 6

Dear Sophomores,

 

Well, this is certainly now how I expected us to be working for the fourth quarter!  As we move through the coming weeks, I will be posting a guide of resources to help you work through the materials we are providing.

 

The following is a suggestion for how to complete the resources for English II during the week of April 6:

 

Monday:  Read the text and complete a summary of the text using Flipgrid

Tuesday:  Write your Thesis statement to begin your essay response.  Submit for feedback.

Wednesday: Complete a graphic organizer that helps you identify your topic sentences and supporting evidence for your thesis statement.

Thursday:  Draft your essay.  

Friday:  Submit your essay - you will receive feedback on what you submit!

 

NOTE:  Links to the Flipgrid, handouts, and places to submit work for feedback will all be posted in Teams on April 5 to help guide your work during the week of April 6.  These are all optional for completion, but I will review and submit feedback for all work completed!
