Welcome to the Elementary Library Webpage
I have been a classroom teacher for 25 years. I have taught the 2nd-5th grades in my time in the classroom. After 25 years in the classroom, I have been given the opportunity to be an elementary librarian at Eagleville School. I have a husband Scott Lewis and two daughters Abigail and Emily Grace. Both of my daughters are in college, but they attended Eagleville School all 13 years. We have a mini farm with mini donkeys and Nigerian Dwarf goats, Your children will hear about them from time to time especially when we have baby goats born.
Procedures for the Elementary Library
I have open check out times and class time with your children. Your children can come with their teachers's permission in small groups at these times 7:45- 9:10, 10:00-12:00, and 1:30 -2:45 everyday. They can also check out books when have have them in class. In the elementary library each student can check out one book per visit or maximum of two books per day. They may have two books if their teacher informs me of a project in class. The students are responsible for any lost or damaged books. I have them every six day rotation.. Also, the elementary library has the elementary computer lab and a mini lab used mainly for RTI ( Reading Intervention) . I will have classes in the elementary library with an elementary computer class happening at the same time, Your children will be expected to be on their best behavior in both classes.
