In class: We learned how to apply the Law of Sines. We covered the first 2 examples from our notes and added a 3rd example of how to find an angle on the back page of our notes. (See attached pdf to fill in your notes if you were absent.)

 -Vertex of a Parabola given an equation in Standard Form and General Form.

-Know how to write the equation of a parabola given the vertex and a point on the curve. 

-Find two quadratic functions, one that opens upward and one that opens downward, whose graphs have the given x-intercepts.

 -Be able to work a football problem like #65 above.

We learned how to work with Compositions of Functions using a table as well as a graph. We also reviewed how to work with algebraic equations. Incorporated in our topic we reviewed solving linear, absolute value, and quadratic equations.
 
Assignment: Do problems #1-4 on page 55 of your packet. Also, keep working on ACT Prep material. Remember, the ALL TIME BEST ACT Prep is....whatever ACT Prep you will actually work on!! OCT 16 is our ACT Test day for Seniors!
